A few years ago, A Polished Plan planned a ceremony and wedding reception for Annie and Andrew at Jonathan Edwards Winery in Stonington, CT. We so loved the vintage feel and handmade details, not to mention Annie’s incredible Jenny Packham gown and the fact that we loved their family oh so much. As you can imagine, we were thrilled to have the privilege to plan Annie’s sister Margaret’s wedding to her beau Brian at The Metropolitan Club this past summer!
So much care and love went in to the details of this wedding. Together, our bride and groom made candles from scratch with handwritten name tags to serve as escort cards and crafted the table numbers out of picture frames and brass house numbers. The brides’ Polish heritage shined bright as guests recited traditional toasts in honor of the newlyweds; mini Polaroids captured the celebration that ensued and doubled as a guestbook chockfull of memories.
The Metropolitan Building is the epitome of what an antique venue should feel like, but the vintage aesthetic was certainly carried through with the choices in color scheme and handmade details and like her sister, Margaret also chose a gorgeous Jenny Packham gown that wowed her groom. We are not kidding, it’s a STUNNER and so well captured by the discerning eye of the always adorable Sidney Morgan!
Thank you to Margaret and Brian for allowing APP to continue to be a part of your family and a big thanks to Mint Cinematography for helping us to relive such a gorgeous and intimate affair!
