Luna and Carlos were married last May in her hometown of Washington, Connecticut, before an intimate group of fifty of their closest family and friends. The super chic Manhattan couple (might I add, they are freaking adorable to boot!) decided a departure from the hustle and bustle of the city would be the key to a laid back weekend filled with laughter and reminiscing. And they called on Jessica from A Polished Plan as their wedding planner to bring their vision to life!
Our bride dreamt of soft blushes with a dash of sparkle and knew that incorporating handmade touches was a must. The Washington Club, with its whitewashed walls and lofted ceilings made for the perfect neutral palette to execute her vision. We absolutely cannot get enough of the florals by Stems Flower Design and the beautiful details of the day, all perfectly captured by the always sweet Leila Brewster.
Side note: Be sure not to miss the blown glass pieces that Luna’s father made specifically for the wedding. The glass pyramids were gifted to guests to help attract good luck and energy and the jointed champagne flute created as a symbol of their love and unity. How cute?!
Thank you to Luna and Carlos who we are thrilled to say feel more like friends than clients, and thank you to our amazing vendors who so thoughtfully helped to make the beginnings of this marriage a beautiful one!
